First Anniversary Party

Well the social event has come and gone and Ladies we could not have asked for a better result!! A day filled with shopping, champagnes, and friends!
Congratulations to Brian and Emily Ross for wining the Name the Diva Contest! They should swing by the shop today to pick up their prize, a free gift certificate:) I will snap a photo of them with the "Front Door Diva" whose name is officially (drum roll, please)......Funky Modina! We love this name and thank all other participants! We posted all the pictures taken that Saturday on our Facebook page, so pop online and check them out!
If you didnt get a chance to come by for the anniversary party, dont worry that, cause even though we had such a great day sales wise.... we still have a ton a new merchandise! The day before the Anniversary Party we had maybe 6 or 7 huge boxes come in.... so it was a day filled with unpacking, steaming, hanging....clothes, that is. Pictures to come soon!

The autumn leaves.... Drift by my window.....

Well Ladies, we received a box from Down East Basics today, but it wasn’t the reorder for the half-sleeve t-shirts you all have been asking about. But we did get some goodies! We got in the great Window Shop Top that was so popular, and two brand new styles. A Blowing Kisses Grey Top that you have to see! It has a cute floral detail that is sure to romanticize any outfit! We also received a great little black dress that come to about your knee with a flowy jersey skirt, delicate floral detailing around the scoop neck! You are just gonna love these new pieces! Along with the Down East Basics we also received a shipment of Jewelry! Beautiful Gold bangles, and also the leather bracelets with gold beads! When I was unpacking this shipment I had to gasp at the exquisite hand painted bird pendent necklaces! These will be the PERFECT accessory for any autumn outfit! Speaking of autumn, this morning it was 65 degrees outside! Fall is coming, ladies!! Finally! You can smell it in the air (if your allergies aren’t getting to you that is) and every so often I see orangey-yellow leaves drift to the sidewalks. Just a few more weeks and it will be time to wrap your favorite scarf around your neck and pull on your leather boots to go crunching around in the leaves! If you don’t have either of these, of course you can find them at Mode! We would love to help you into something superb this slow coming fall!

We are looking for help! We need someone for upstairs in the 'tween department on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. We also need help on some Saturdays.

We are still looking for help on Wednesday, Fridays and some Saturdays downstairs.

Hello Lovelies! Andrea and I have been working on a few projects these past two weeks that we would really like your input on:) We have discovered that our best way of communicating with all of our customers is through either this blogspot or Facebook. We really want to reach out to our customers and really let y'all in on what we've got going on, whether it be through online shopping or through blogging about the craziness of owning a store downtown. We will continue blogging each week and keep sending out monthly emails to our email list. We are also learning about new applications on here and on Facebook. For example, just today we have added a Feedburner application to this blog page. If you look over to the top right hand side of the screen you will see a place where you can enter your email address to subscribe to getting an email telling you about updates to this blog. Go ahead and enter it now, so you wont forget about it later. Even if you are on our email list, we haven't subscribed you, we wanted you to have the option of following or not, and the great part about this Feedburner is that you DO NOT need a gmail account, nope, you can have hotmail, yahoo, rose.net, etc... doesn't matter any email address will work!
Also, on our Facebook account we have added the option for you to online shop. We are still getting use to the Shop Now application but we will keep adding new merchandise for purchase each week!
Ladies, thank you so much for your support over this past year! We not only love our customers from Thomasville, but also Tallahassee, Moultrie, Albany, Tifton, Bainbridge, and Valdosta! ( If we left out your town, let us know so we can show you some love) We love being here on the Bricks in Thomasville!

Exciting News, Ladies!! Mode has been on the bricks for a year! So to celebrate, Andrea is having a party all day long inside the store. With a DJ starting @ 12:30!! Andrea and myself have come up with a wonderful champagne martini just for this occasion! You know that mannequin that sits on the tables and chairs around the store? Yeah, we are having a name the mannequin contest! Best Name wins! Much Much More is in the works, so you will have to drop by Sept. 25 and see what all the fun is about!
